从我出国的那天起 妈妈在家无事在社区里报了个串珠班

是从头开始学 从最开始的圣诞老人 小猫小狗 每个作品都是要1个多小时的 

四年来妈妈却从未放弃过  上海书城所有的串珠书都被她搬回来了

从早到晚足不出户的就在家里串珠

那个刻苦阿 哪天我读书及她的一半就好了

现在妈妈的手工串珠似乎已经到了一个境界  

她的作品已经可以用琳琅满目来形容了

去年圣诞她来英国探亲看我 我也不得不把她的串珠当回事来看 

现在的妈妈在伯明翰的华人社区做起了串珠老师 双休日更是拉着我 去伯明翰周边各个小镇的市场跑

我想说的是

妈妈自从有了我之后似乎都没有一份真正意义上的工作

看到她为自己喜欢的事情那么付出 做子女由衷地为她感到骄傲和尊敬

 

 

Started placement for two weeks now. The project I involved was doing online steaming film on the second life, virtual Serious Game.

 

What is Serious Game?

 

Serious game technology and game design principles for a primary purpose other than pure entertainment. They are a way to perform training through games. Generally people can learn and be trained through the game like healthy care and online education etc on the virtual worlds. Its a new platform for people socialising and networking in a different world.

 

Second Life is a 3-D virtual world created by its Residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by millions of Residents from around the globe (its free to join). People in second life got their own 3d character, they can fly can work can shopping can do business can go to school go to hospital can go to everywhere they wanna go.

 

Video Streaming online is very powerful platform nowadays and I think in the near future, it can be widely used in many areas (the companies, hospitals, univsersities, etc). Take an example, this is how online meeting goes in the virtual worlds. When students having a lecture in Nanjing University, as the same time, students in New York are able to watch this lecture on live in their computer in the second life, and they can use headphone mic to talk and text messages on live, the tutor in Nanjing can see them in virtual world classroom and answer their questions directly. In the education system, moodle has been widely used already, we can convenient download the ppt, audio and video from our teacher's website. On this stage, Second Life using 3d technology convergent all of these to the virtual world. All they do basically was building a multimedia classroom in the 3d virtual world platform which was visualable and support all the multimedia format. It is more fun and easier to bring people together.

It was an interesting experience, maybe you can have a look when you got time, its free to join on second life to be a resident in the virtual worlds.

这应该是他出道以来在上海的首个个人演唱会

记得五年前有个拼盘的 也在虹口体育场 志颖和黄品源，徐怀钰的极品情歌演唱会

那次我刚刚高考完成绩出来  然后我又没考好 心情也很糟 都不知道以后要干吗 那天又下着雨  

拿了个上海中学生报学生记者证混了进去 （我现在已经搞不清楚到底是因为自己喜欢新闻这一行所以想做记者 还是因为想采访到林志颖所以才想做的记者）

进去了以后印入我眼帘的画面我到现在还记得

林志颖在台上排练 经纪人在旁边用手祷告着天可以让雨停下来

我感觉自己是像夺宝奇兵里走迷宫一样走到的舞台阁楼下方  正好那时林志颖从台上下来 非常深情地望着我说了两个字：加油

虽然后来我发现这话他是对在我身后的徐怀钰说的 但自己当时真的好激动的

那次以后就真的下定决心要做记者了

虽然在南理工学的是理科 感觉无论是科协的新闻采编部还是电视台 我的记者生涯真的是从我大学真正开始的

那段时光很快乐 认识了很多志同道合的朋友 一起完成了有意思的作品 

一晃五年过去了 我也终于要踏上工作的岗位做一名真正的记者了

 

 

I have been to London PhoenixCNE last week. One of the programme producer came to see me finally, but it quite disappionted me that the program they made in Euro was only for the Chinese government in UK, the budget was very limited, they seem to have no passion to take any new ideas and adivice of the new program. He told me the internship was limited to graduate student, all the personnel rescuitment is all relying on the relationship.

After I atttended BBC script writing compitition workshop. compare to attitude of phoenix, they are very welcome to the new talent, especially in this particular Chinese Olympic year,all the world wanna to know more about the China and the interesting story of British Chinese. they said we cant see any Chinese face on the UK television, because we have no Chinese script writers. Everyone were welcomed and got the same oppotunity on this script writing compition, which was really encouraging me.

 

In the begining of the March, I am still on the process of sending CV, all my life now is controlled by stress and pressure...

 

After Two module assessments were handed in, I was totally sleeping for one week

This week one filming project and another animation need to be made up,

Next week another assesment should be handed in...

 

I do realize how important the ability to control the time, to make life on scedule, not to leave stuff at the last mins,

but old habits really disappionted myself and lose confidence

 

Today is my one of my housemates 24th birthday, who was a really hard working girl I have ever met,

what I learn from her is

old habit dies hard, 

we still make prograss if we dont give up even feel disappionted. 

The process of striving and making effects to reach a goal is something worthwhile in life...

 

 

 

  

1. Do not make schedule too vague.

2. Do not delay your planning.

3. Write everything down.

4.Learn to manage distractions.

5. Do not 'shotgun' plan.

6. Do not over-schedule.

7. Be realistic and honest with yourself.

8. Remember that time is relative.

9. Be prepared.

Today, very happy to see the fireworks at tic, and all of the Birmingham lights up coz the Christmas coming.
